ObituaryOpal Stowasser Jordan
Opal Stowasser Jordan, 83, of Milton passed away August 16, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 10, 1931, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Earl Stowasser and Goldie Stanley Stowasser. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Willard Bill Jordan; three brothers Clayton, Bill and Jimmy Stowasser. She is survived by her son, Billy Joe Jordan and wife Colleen Sue of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; daughters, Connie Basham and husband Bruce of Elkview, W.Va., Linda McDaniel and husband Richard of Dunbar, W.Va., Jeanette Lynn Jordan Hill and husband Kenny of Diamond, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and three sisters Hazel Jenkins, Mary Edmonds and Nancy Lipsey. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Jeff Dailey and Pastor Cherrie Sizemore. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
