ObituarySARAH ISABELL WHETSEL SARAH ISABELL WHETSEL, 84, of Culloden, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at her residence. She was born April 17, 1930, in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late George and Isabell Sectrice Hagerty. She is also preceded in death by her twin sister, Sylvia Hagerty. She is survived by her husband Rev. Clayton Whetsel; one daughter, Beatrice Kay Whetsel of Topeka, Kan.; one son and daughter-in-law, Brian Eugene and Mary Whetsel; one brother, George Curtis Hagerty; two grandchildren, Trapper Whetsel and his wife Allisun and Brittney Miller and her husband James; and one great grandchild Milo Mason Whetsel. Graveside services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens in the West Virginia Mausoleum with Pastor Ellis E. Conley officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of Huntington, P.O. Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton is assisting the family with arrangements.
