Myrtle Cleo Chapman
(October 15, 1928 - June 1, 2015)

Myrtle Cleo Chapman, 86, of Southgate, Michigan, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away June 1, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Rev. Billie Mullins. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. She was born October 15, 1928, a daughter of the late George Ratliff and Cora Lee Elkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Chapman Sr.; one grandson, Gregory Chapman Jr.; and one great-grandson, Reades Austin Lake. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne and James Pertee and Yvette and Emery Cook both of Southgate, MI; two sons and daughter-in-law, Fred L. Chapman Jr. of Southgate, MI and Greg and Pauline Chapman of Ona, WV; three sisters, Billie Mullins and Donna Jackson, both of Maryland, and Gay Gibson of Ohio; one brother, Glenn Wallace Ratliff of Michigan; four grandchildren, Cindy Maynard, Erik Pertee, Natasha Yoscovits, Christina Lynn Lake; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
