Darrell Otto Hanshaw
(March 6, 1927 - August 29, 2016)

Darrell Otto Hanshaw, 89, of Culloden, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 29, 2016. He was born March 6, 1927, in Charleston, W.Va., a son of the late Otto Michael and Ida May Kelly Hanshaw. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Smith Hanshaw; two brothers, Marion Hanshaw and Bob Hanshaw and four sisters, Audrey Mullens, Doris Thomas, Wanda Casto and Vivian Hanshaw. He is survived by his wife Emmalene Morrison Hanshaw; one daughter, Lois Myers (Brent) and one step-daughter, Cheryl Rose (Marc); one son, Jeffrey Hanshaw (Kim); one grandchild, Jason Hanshaw; one step-grandchild, Todd Wallace; one great grandchildren, Ian Hanshaw and two step-great-children, Brian Wallace and Heaven Wallace. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Tracy Call officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
