ObituaryPeggy Jean Rigney
Peggy Jean Rigney, 76, of Ona, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 1, 2016. Peggy was born July 11, 1940 in Huntington, a daughter of the late John Lewis and Eunice Virginia Watkins Young. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Harbour and one brother, James Daniel Young. She was a member of the Guyandotte Church of Christ and was a member of the Lydia Ladies. She was a graduate of Huntington East High School and Marshall University. She loved and cherished her family and would always be there for their sporting events and performances. She was a Navy Bride of 57 years to her loving husband, Ronald Rigney. She is also survived by two daughters, Sherry Kline (Gary) and Tricia Bailey (Brian); son-in-law, Gerald Harbour; one sister, Judith Kay Simpson; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer (Simon), Rebekah (Danny), Chris, Emily, Sarah, Allyson, Kelsea (Seth), Katie, Justin and Jared; one great granddaughter, Scout and one great grandson on the way. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Minister Bob Huron officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. The family would like to thank Dr. Damian Silbermins, St. Mary’s Medical Center 6th floor staff and the staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
