Burger
Paul Eugene Burger, 88, of Ona, WV, passed away September 16, 2017, at the Village at Riverview. He was born August 26, 1929, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Peter Burger and Annie Smith Burger. He was a retired trucker driver for Smith Transfer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Jeanette "MaMa Burger" Burger; and his daughter, Janice Hall; brothers and sisters, Everett, Roy, Lonnie, Luther, Hal, Homer, Marie and Darlene. He is survived by his son, Kenneth McCarley and son-in-law, Keith Hall Sr.; brother, Robert "Bucky" Burger; and sister, Irene Hager; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Brian McCarley, Amy and Rusty Smith, Thomas and Stacey McCarley, Margie McCarley, Brandon McCarley, Julie Hall and Robert Shride, Kim Hall, Keith and Jennifer Hall, Jr.; great grandchildren, Haylea, Lacey, Sammy, Khloe, Keith, and Kendall, Faith, Ashlee, Tori, Shane, Lucas, Grady, Trent, Bailey, Jacob, Victoria, Zachary, Tucker, and Colby; two great grandchildren, Kyler and Lilliana and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Elder Rob Prichard. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.
