Jeffrey A. Salmons Jr.
(January 13, 1983 - June 16, 2018)


JEFFREY A. SALMONS JR., 35, of Milton, W.Va., went to go rest high on that mountain on June 16, 2018. He was born January 13, 1983, in Mason County, W.Va. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patricia A. Waugh of Ashton, W.Va., and step-grandmother, Liz Edmonds Wroten of Glenwood, W.Va. He is survived by his children, Jayson and Evelyn Salmons of Barboursville, W.Va.; his mother, Vicki (Larry) Edmonds of Glenwood, his father, Jeff (Allison) Salmons of Salt Rock, W.Va.; brothers, Russell (Jackie) Waugh of Ashton, W.Va., and Tony Salmons of Glenwood, W.Va.; paternal grandparents, J.D. and Jean Salmons of Milton, and maternal grandfather, Donald Waugh of Ashton, W.Va.; a niece, Hannah Tripett, and special nephew, Michael Salmons Jr. of Glenwood, W.Va. Jeffrey's unwavering love for his children is beyond measure. His passions were to hunt, fish and search for arrowheads with his children. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church and attended Valley of Decision Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Friday, June 22, 2018, at Moores Chapel Church, Ashton, W.Va., by Rev. Charlie Langdon. Burial will follow at Balls Chapel Cemetery, Ashton, W.Va. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Moores Chapel Church. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is in charge of arrangements.
