Obituary"Sue" Harriet McComas
Cobb “Sue” Harriett McComas Cobb, 78, of Milton, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022. She was born April 26, 1944, in Huntington, a daughter of the late George W. and Opal McComas. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, son Billy Cobb, daughter Dee Dee Cobb Ashley, brother Rod McComas (Jennine). She is survived by her husband Charles E. Cobb; son Chris Cobb; brother Mike McComas (Brenda); sister Patty McComas Holley; five grandchildren Christy Jordan, Robert Hysell, Katie Anderson (Blaine), Haden and Carson Cobb; six great grandchildren Haley, Emily and Caleb Adkins, Kylie Anderson, Valia Holbert, and Bailey Hysell; special friend Bonnie Meese; many friends, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was honored to cook for the church on her week. She loved to feed everyone. Sue worked with the PTA all of her children school years. She wanted to help the schools have everything they needed to make a good learning place for all children. She went to work for the first time ever at Kohls. She called it Playing Store. She worked there 12 years. She was a member of the Milton Woman’s Club for many years. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Bethesda United Methodist Church, with Rev. Nancy White officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is assisting the family.
