Obituary

Janice Sue Beckett
(October 15, 1953 - August 20, 2021)

Janice Sue Beckett, 67, of Milton, W.Va., passed away Friday, August 20, 2021. She was born October 15, 1953 in West Hamlin, W.Va., a daughter of the late Chester and Eunice Adkins. She is also preceded in death by one daughter, Amanda Sue Beckett and by one brother, Bobby Adkins. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Beckett; two sons, Joseph Beckett (Jennifer) and Jacob Beckett (Ashley); three sisters, Pam Woodrum, Debbie Adkins and Joyce Johnson; two brothers, Roger Adkins (Charlotte) and Gary Adkins; four grandchildren, Adam, Ryan and Jade Beckett and Ashton Wolfe; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Rick Sovine officiating. Burial will follow in Portersville Cemetery, West Hamlin, W.Va. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
