Kathy Lynn Browning Skaggs, 61, of Barboursville, was called home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, September 4, 2011. She is now rejoicing in heaven with the Lord and her loved ones that went before her: her parents, Bradford and Helen Browning; her daughter, Amy Elizabeth Skaggs Clay, her grandson, Robert Dakota Skaggs, her baby brother, Timothy Roy Browning and all her grandparents. She leaves behind her husband and love of her life of 45 years, Robert Lee Skaggs; three children, Lori Skaggs Lemon-Stepp and husband Richard Stepp, Robert Bradford Skaggs and wife Kelly Skaggs, and Sarah Christine Skaggs; one sister, Beth Browning George and brother-in-law, Brian George; one brother, Steve Browning and sister-in-law, Pam Browning; grandchildren, Brianna Black, Rebecca Lemon, Alex Abbott, Brandon Lemon, Justin Lemon, Haliegh Skaggs, Taylor Skaggs and Malaki Skaggs; great grandchildren, Abigail Bowen, Hunter Fetty and Amelia Bowen; many nieces and nephews; her dear friends, Eadie Wall, Diana Farley and Kelli Bell. Kathy was a member of Elmwood Baptist Church all of her life and her faith in God was a inspiration to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Rick Glass.
