Nichols, II
Anthony "David" Nichols, II, Esq., went home to the Lord and to his maternal grandmother "Mawmaw", Sally Jo Taylor-Midkiff, on the 19th day of December, 2014. He is survived by his loving mother, Shari Lynn Midkiff-Nichols, of Huntington, his sister, Amanda Dawn Nichols-Isom, two nephews, whom he adored, Dylan T. Isom and Christopher T. Isom of Barboursville, his maternal grandfather Donald E. Midkiff (Barbara) of Barboursville, his Aunt Susan and Uncle Joe Chapman of Ona, his cousin, Joseph R. Chapman of Huntington, his father, Anthony D. Nichols of Huntington, paternal grandparents Robert D. and Patricia L. Nichols of Huntington, as well as his Uncle Robert C. Nichols (Linda) of Culloden, and his special friend, Whitney Davis, of Huntington, his dear friends Jesse Brower (Emilee) of San Francisco, California, AJ Mushet of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Justin (Kate) Weis, of Washington, D.C., and Steven Wolfe (Kayla) of Charleston. David was a 2001 graduate of Cabell Midland High School, a 2007 graduate of Marshall University's Criminal Justice Program where he was President of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, and a 2012 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School. David was an associate attorney with the firm of Duffield, Lovejoy Stemple & Boggs. He remained highly active as chapter advisor to the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Pallbearers will be his cousin Joseph R. Chapman, his dear friends Robby "Bob" Spurlock and Byron H. Wellman, his Pi Kappa Alpha brothers, Jesse Brower, Mike Coster, David "Gio" Giordano, Justin Weis, and Steven Wolfe. David's Pi Kappa Alpha brother, Scott Poole, will be present in spirit as a pallbearer. David's passion in life was his family, his legal career, and his love of the outdoors. He possessed a deep love for his family and an avid love of the outdoors. He was an enthusiastic hunter and was deeply at peace when enjoying nature. His friendship and generosity for others knew no bounds and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by the Rev. Brent Beckett. Interment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
