BRIAN NELSON SMITH, 22, of Huntington, formerly of Glenwood, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Guyan Creek Church Cemetery, Glenwood, W.Va. He was born March 3, 1994, in Huntington, a son of Matthew Smith of Glenwood and Tammy Clay Fielder of Huntington. He was a machinist with Hammers Industries. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Layden Worthy Nelson Smith; three sisters, Cassandra Lawhon-Jeffers of Huntington, Brittany Nichole Bills of Ona and Emily Audreauna Smith of Glenwood, W.Va.; five brothers, Matthew Tyler Smith and his wife, Jessey of Apple Grove, W.Va., Jason Alan Smith of Chesapeake, Noah Scott Smith, Perry Fielder and Bobby Fielder, all of Huntington; his stepmother, Melissa Diana Smith; his stepfather, Robert Lee Fielder; his paternal grandparents, Roger E. and Brenda K. Smith of Glenwood, W.Va.; his maternal grandfather, Richard Clay of Ashland; his paternal great-grandmother, Alta Smith of Glenwood, W.Va.; his girlfriend, Taylor Brooke Wyant; and 10 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
