Royal Josephine Goodman Woodside
(November 11, 1934 - June 26, 2019)



Royal Josephine Goodman Woodside, 84, of Cleveland, OH, formerly of Branchland, WV, went home to be with the Lord, June 26, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Larry Perry and Rev. Garland Perry. Burial will be in Vincent Adkins Cemetery. She was born November 11, 1934 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Inez Bradshaw Adkins. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Carvel Adkins, Maxine Jenkins, Lorene Bartram, Roscoe Adkins, Jr., James Edwin Adkins and Randall Odell Adkins, and Pearl Bills Herrenkohl. She is survived by her husband, Earnest Woodside; two sons, Fredlene Goodman II, (Kathy) and James Goodman (Jeannie), all of Cleveland, OH; six grandchildren, Christina Lloyd (Brent), Nichole Roman (Richard), Michelle Roman (Mike), James Royal Goodman (Angie), Fredlene Goodman, III (Rachel), Kelly Goodman (Justin), and Shawn Sayre; nine great grandchildren; sister, Donna Adkins; brothers, Darrell, Daniel and Glenn Adkins, and her special pets, Cookie and Newmie. Nephews will be pallbearers. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
