Melinda Jean Stephens
(March 31, 1972 - August 11, 2021)

Melinda Jean Stephens, 49, of Huntington, WV, passed away August 11, 2021. She was born March 31, 1972 in Huntington, a daughter of Brenda Shrewsbury Rainey of Barboursville, and the late Harry Eugene Rainey. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Casey and Jakob O’Bryan of Barboursville, and her son, Caden Stephens, of Barboursville and his father, Scott Stephens of Barboursville; two grandchildren, Jessa and Carter O’Bryan: her soul mate John W. Dick of Huntington and his two children, Casper Dick and Bridget Dick; other special family members, Uncle Bill Davidson of Beckley, Regina (Steve) Atkins of Buckhannon, Matt Atkins of Austin, TX and Susan Davidson of Christianberg, VA. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
