Jacqueline Chapman Henderson
(December 29, 1955 - January 3, 2022)



JACQUELINE CHAPMAN HENDERSON, 66, of Ona, WV, went to be home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 3, 2022, at home, with her loving family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was a paper carrier for The Herald Dispatch for the past 20 years. She was born on December 29, 1955, in Huntington, WV. She was the daughter of the late Harless Everett Chapman and Lorene Smith Chapman. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Rebecca Chapman Dennison. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James Clayton Henderson, sons, James Clayton Henderson Jr. (Samual Lee) and Samuel David Henderson (April), daughters, Rachel May Henderson, Jessica Lynn Henderson Stevens and Hannah Grace Henderson Simpson (Kindra); four grandchildren, Jewlyanna, Harley and Bradley Turner and Trinity Davis. She is also survived by her brothers, Roger Chapman (Kathy) of Ona, WV, Kenneth Chapman (Lisa) of Huntington, WV, sisters, Sharon Sowards (John) of Eastview, KY, Denise Skidmore (Larry) of Barboursville, WV, brother-in-law, Kenneth Dennison (Sandy) of Ona, WV, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022, at Olive Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Gordon Rutherford and Pastor Doug Spurlock officiating. Interment will be at Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington for their assistance with our wife and mother in her last days. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of the arrangements.
