Obituary

William H. Culp, Jr., 82, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington.  Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.  He was born January 21, 1926, a son of the late William H. and Lavona Simon Culp.  He was also preceded in death by his wife Evelyn C. Culp and two brothers, Max and Bob Culp.  Mr. Culp was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the VFW Post 9738 and the American Legion Post 16.  He is survived by two sons, Rodney D. Culp and his wife, Janie of Milton and Ron Culp of Euclid, OH; one sister, Bonnie Hesson of Lexington, KY; one brother, Jerry Culp of Orange Park, FL; two grandchildren, Scott Culp and his wife, Michelle of Milton and Dee Dee Kisor and her husband, George of Barboursville; and two great grandchildren, Aaron and Hannah Culp.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the mortuary.
