He was a kind-hearted, compassionate and patient son, brother, grandson and friend. He lovingly helped care for his Mamaw Jeanie as often as he could and made his family proud. He touched the lives of so many people and will be remembered for his great sense of humor; his laughter was infectious. Alex was considered a dear friend to so many people and will be missed dearly. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Jean Pickens of Barboursville; maternal grandparents, Wiley and Rosalie Estep of Huntington; sister, Abigail Pickens of Huntington; special cousin and friend, Dylan Parker of Huntington, uncles, aunts, other cousins, relatives, friends and his beloved cats, Jake and Alice.
