Charles Albert "Chip" Prager Jr.

Charles Albert "Chip" Prager, Jr., 72, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 in Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth, Ohio. Chip was born February 3, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late Charles A. Prager, Sr. and Elizabeth Snerr Prager. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Iris McFann Prager and a sister, Jean. He retired from Chrysler Corporation and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a lifelong Philadelphia Sports Fan and enjoyed playing golf and hunting. Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Alan and Suzanne Prager and Scott Prager; a grandson, Matthew Prager; and a special step daughter and her husband, Kimberly and Robert Brown. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday, December 28, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Father Jim Sobus officiating. Inurnment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. VFW Post 9738 will conduct Military Graveside Rites.
