Loren "Keith" Kearns

Loren "Keith" Kearns, 86, of Huntington died Monday Saturday, November 06, 2010, at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday November 8, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor David Blake officiating. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park, Greenbottom, WV, with military graveside rites. He was born April 20, 1924, the son of Marie Fulks Kearns and Loren "Jeff" Hamilton Kearns. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert "Bob" Kearns and G. Gene Kearns. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, retired from Special Metals, a member of the Steelworkers Union, and the Greenbottom Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Swann Kearns; a sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Bill Withers of Ashton, WV; two sisters in law, Louise Kearns of Lesage; and Emma Jane Kearns of Point Pleasant, WV; as well as several nieces and nephews that he dearly loved. Friends may call after 1:00 PM Tuesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
