Obituary



Judy Elizabeth Albrecht, 74, of Huntington, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, September1, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born November 14, 1940, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph Lambert and Ora Dell Gillispie Chapman. A brother, Joel Chapman also preceded her in death. Judy graduated from the St. Mary's School of Nursing obtaining her RN. She continued her education at a later age obtaining her B.S. N., and has worked for the VA Medical Center until her retirement. She is a long standing member of Grace Gospel Church. Survivors include her three daughters, Kimberly Dawn Williams and husband, Bart, of Tega Cay, SC, Kelly Rena Schuman and husband David, of South Point, OH, and Katherine Lynn Cyrus and special long standing friend, Billy Radig of Kenova; a favorite son, F16 Crew Chief TSgt Mark A. Albrecht and wife Danika of Columbia, SC; the father of her children, Vernon "Toby" Albrecht; seven grandsons, which will serve as pallbearers, Brandon Williams, Benjamin Williams, Zachary Albrecht, Nick Palumbo, Tyler Cyrus, Trevor Cyrus, and Parker Albrecht; two great grandsons, Braxton Williams and Rylan Albrecht; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Don Saunders of South Point, OH; a brother, Edward Chapman of Kenova, WV; a very special cousin who was more like sister, Carolyn Mantey of Ravenswood, WV; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins to whom she is survived. Viewing will be Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 12:00-2:00 pm with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 pm at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Keith Wiebe officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. The family wishes donations be made to a local Alzheimer's Association.
