Obituary


Charles Patrick Stryker, 73, of Ona, died Friday, April 26, 2019 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born January 20, 1946 in Long Branch, NJ., a son of the late Phillip Stryker, Sr. and Clara Connell Stryker. Other family that has preceded him in death were a daughter, Kimberly Stryker; sisters, Mary Stryker, Teresa Poling, Sis Stryker, and Patricia Stryker; and a brother, Phillip Stryker, Jr. He was a retired interior decorator with J.C. Penney in New Jersey. Charles was a nature lover, and a huge animal lover, including his companion, an African Grey Parrot, "Dusty". Survivors include a great niece, Melissa Neville and husband, Danny Neville of Ona, WV, and their children, Anna Parrell, Michael Parrell, Branden Parrell, Daniel Neville, and Dannielle Neville; a great nephew, Robert Monte and wife, Sarah Monte of Proctorville, OH, and their children, Lauren Monte, Anthony Monte, Zack Monte, and Avary Monte; and five nieces, Wendi Poling and her son, Joey Poling, JoAnn Poling, Lori Monte, Sherri Catullo, and Tammy Baker, all of Keyport, NJ. He will be cremated per his request and there will be no services.
