Obituary


Zola Louise Coleman, 81, of Huntington, wife of Max C. Coleman, died Monday, March 25, 2019 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 18, 1937 in Pettus, WV., a daughter of the late Garnet Edward and Virginia Frances Bryant O'Meara. Other family preceding her in death were an infant daughter, Lisa Louise Coleman; a sister, Roselynd Serrano; and two brothers, Gerald "Jerry" O'Meara and Kedrick "Frankie" O'Meara. She was a homemaker and had worked formerly as a beautician's aide in beauty shops. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Robert Wayne Coleman of Yorktown, VA; three sisters, Judy Fisher of Charleston, WV, Linda Cevantis of Cedar Lake, IN, and Darlene Biris of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, William O'Meara of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren, Jason Adam Coleman. Christopher Michael Coleman, Kevin Wayne Coleman, Joseph "Bradley" Coleman, and Brooke Coleman; and three great grandchildren, James Coleman, Victoria Coleman, and Rachel Coleman. There will be no formal services and a burial at Arlington National Cemetery will occur at a later date.
