Paula June Dotson, 60, of Culloden, WV, wife of Mark Steven Dotson, died Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Charleston Area Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1959 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Richard Paul and Connie Jo Wentz Merritt. A brother, Richard Lee Merritt also preceded her in death. She was a loving wife and mother, and a wonderful homemaker. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lucy Jane and Junior Marcum of Wayne; a son, Mark Steven Dotson, II of Proctorville, OH; two grandchildren, Alice June Marcum and Able Steven Dotson; and a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Walter George of Huntington. Memorial service will be 11:00 am Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Living Waters Free Methodist Church, 119 5th Street, Altizer, with Pastor Larry D. Bailey, Jr. officiating. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family with services.
