Portia not only was a caregiver, but she was a loving friend and devoted contributor to the community. Portia loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved to shop while getting the best bargains. Most of all, she loved spending time with her best friend, Carolyn Buckhannon who was the sister she never had. Portia was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Asia Gravely, and her son Exel E. Ferguson, Jr. She is cherished and survived by three children Henry (Janelle) Ferguson of Baltimore, Maryland, Porsetta (Windell) Comer Prattville, Alabama and Michael Gerguson of Huntington, WV.
