Rosalind Gail Stubblefield
(September 7, 1951 - June 15, 2013)


Rosalind Gail Stubblefield 61, affectionately know as "MEMAW" to her family was born September 9, 1951 on Loash Hill in Logan County, WV to the late Rosa Russell and Hubert Oscar Hatcher. She departed this life on Saturday, June 15, 2013 to join her parents and two sisters Lanita Hatcher and Andrea Ibezim who preceded her in death. Rosalind was employed by Tri-Data Services and worked also as a Childcare Provider through Link Childcare and Referral for several years. She was educated in logan County and Cabell County Public School Systems. She enjoyed many hobbies which included: crocheting, reading, decorating, arts & crafts, along with going shopping with her daughter, grand daughters and best friends. She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and was a faithful member of Spirit of the Lord United Holy Church. She served as the District Usher for the UHC Kentucky District Churches, Superintendent of the Sunday School, President of the Pastor's Aid Committee, Choir Member, and assisted on the Fundraising Committee for all Church Auxiliaries and the Helps Ministry in serving meals to the needy in the community at the church. She leaves to cherish her loving memory one daughter, Sabrina Stubblefield, two sons: Robby and Winfred Stubblefield all of Huntington, WV. God daughter, LaToya Crandall. A special Mother, Minister Mary O'Dell Binder, 8 grandchildren: Khadejah, Ky'Ashia, Robby, Jr, Antonio, Cierra, Jamar, Alphonso and LeAnn. 9 great grandchildren. Siblings Josephine Hatcher, Janice Hatcher, Nathaniel "Bozy" Hatcher, Thomas Shaw, Leola Johnson, Wesley Hall, Catherine (Joe) Allen, Levonia (Frank) Anderson. Special Friends: Kelvin Rodman, Teresa Ward, Billy Jean Fears and Gladys Shaw. special God children: Courtney, Deloris and Dana Nelson, Trevon Okonkwo as well as countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. she will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, June 25, 2013 at the Spirit of the Lord United Holy Church, with Pastor Nathaniel Tucker Ward, officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends amy call one hour prior to the service at the church.
