John William Benson
(March 11, 1961 - March 15, 2014)

John William Benson, 53 of Huntington passed away Saturday, March 15 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Friday, March 21, 2014 in the Chapel of Ferrell--Chambers Funeral Home with Tony Mays officiating. John was born March 11, 1961 in Huntington, West Virginia a son of the late Bert and Mabel Mays Benson. John is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Lester Mays. Survivors include his three sons, John Benson of Huntington, WV Chris Fry of Chesapeake, OH, Beau Sowards, two daughters Mitsy and Michelle Bleigh, one brother Roy Mays, and three sister Sue Farley, Linda Gue, Rena Ward all of Huntington, Wv along with his former wife Frankie Benson and a host of nieces, nephews other family members and friends. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
