Richard David Chapple
(March 13, 1944 - April 3, 2018)

Richard David Chapple, 74 of Culloden, WV passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born on March 13, 1944 in Monongah, WV to the late parents, Carl Chapple and Clara (Carpenter) Chapple. Richard was previously a Pastor at Chapel of Victory in Pine Grove, WV, attended Forest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church in Hurricane, WV and was an Eagle Scout. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Josielea Chapple; children, Melanee Morgan (Paul), Richard David Chapple, Jr. (Joanne) and Jayné Kirk (Randy) and one brother, Carl Chapple, II. Also, surviving are his 7 grandchildren: Jessica Chapple, Eli Morgan, III, Carl Chapple, III, Richard Chapple, III, Hannah Chapple, Allen Kirk, III and Iris Kirk; and two great-grandchildren: Ava Paul and Rowan Morgan. A Memorial Service will be conducted at Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church in Hurricane, WV on Monday, April 9 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Ellis Conley, officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 8 from 6-8 pm at the church. Another Memorial Service will be held at Chapel of Victory in Pine Grove, WV at a later date.
