Obituary

CHARLES E. HOSCHAR JR., 83, of Raceland, Ky., passed away Saturday, November 27, 2004 in Morris Memorial Nursing Home, Milton. Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at Ridgelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Richard Black officiating. He was born March 8, 1921, in Huntington, a son of the late Charles E. and Blanche Kirkland Hoschar. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Mallory and two brothers, Howard Hoschar and Lyle Hoschar. Mr. Hoschar served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was retired from Appalachian Power Company. He also volunteered at the American Red Cross, teaching First Aid and CPR. He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Stewart Hoschar; two daughters, Charlotte Nixon of Huntington and Barbara Kitchen of Raceland, Ky.; three sons, Carlos Hoschar of Cheyenne, Wyo., Richard Mallory of Greenup, Ky., and David Mallory of Huntington; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the cemetery. Heck Funeral Home, Milton, is in charge of arrangements.
