Obituary

FLOYD A. VITITOE SR., 81, of Nokomis, Ill., formerly of Milton, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2004. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. He was born June 10, 1923, in Cabell Co., West Virginia, a son of the late Joseph L. and Ollie F. Payton Vititoe. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marian H. Nix Vititoe; one daughter, Sheila Louise Vititoe and one son, Joseph L. Vititoe. Mr. Vititoe served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of Union Baptist Church, Milton. He is survived by two sons, Floyd Vititoe Jr. and his special friend, Joan Scholl of Danvers, Ill., and Murry Vititoe and his wife Paulette of Taylorville, Ill.; one daughter, Samantha Vititoe of Jacksonville, Fla.; one stepson, Russell Gene Nix of Bronson, Fla.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
