Obituary

BETHEL GAIL VANCE, 68, of Culloden, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord, Monday, January 24, 2005, at her residence. She was born Feb. 23, 1936 in Webster, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ellen and Harrison Jones. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Forrest Eugene Vance. She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Kay Quintrill of Culloden; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Rustie Lee Vance of Culloden and Dusty and Delta Vance of Milton; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. It was her request to be donated to science to provide hope that one day there would be a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Heck Funeral Home, Milton, is in charge of the arrangements.
