Obituary

GARRETT L. CHAPMAN, 72, of Daytona Beach, Fla., went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 17, 2005, at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Pete Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. He was born August 15, 1932, in Milton, W.Va., a son of the late James and Inez Perry Chapman. Mr. Chapman was a member of the Daytona Beach Baptist Church and the Medina Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star, Medina, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Alma Isaacs Chapman; one daughter, Karlene Adkins and her husband Brady of Palm Bay, Fla.; one granddaughter, Stacie Christie and her husband, Eric of Palm Bay, Fla.; one great-grandson, Emmanual Christie; one brother, Darrell Chapman of Lesage; and one sister, Vernice Meadows of Huntington. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
