Obituary

Carole A. Coleman, 65, formerly of Milton, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2006 in Eldercare of WV.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Ted Nance officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  She was born May 20, 1941 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Homer and Sophia Elliott Yates.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William M. Coleman.  She worked at Moses Pontiac for 30 years as a bookkeeper, and was a former member of Milton Methodist Church.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jeff Hairston of Milton; one son, Wayne Coleman of Martinsburg, WV; four grandchildren, Shannon Stevens, Courtney Hairston, Katie Coleman and McKenzie Coleman; two brothers, Daniel Yates and Paul Yates, both of Milton; two sisters, Dorthea Jean Adams of Milton and Rosemary Cooper of Indianapolis, IN.  Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
