Loren Wayne Spiva, 81, of Culloden, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 2 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Jason Page officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Loren was born January 27, 1930. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Spiva; mother, Audra Spiva Holloway; step father, Clarence Holloway. He was retired from the federal government. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Cora L. Spiva; four children, Stephan Dale (Barbara) Spiva of Solona Beach, CA, Clarence Edward (Carol) Spiva of Westminster, MD, Patricia Ione (Gary) Marcoux of Fredericksburg, VA, and Lori Sue Spiva of Charleston, WV; brother, William (Shirley) Spiva of Boise, ID; sister, June Cloyd of Tucson, AZ; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM, prior to the service on Saturday at Heck Funeral Home.
