ROBERT G. WATKINS
(February 18, 1930 - March 4, 2012)

Robert G. Watkins, 82 of Ashland, KY, passed away, Sunday, March 4, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 18, 1930 in Van Lear, KY. the son of the late, Marvin and Willa Margaret (May) Watkins. He is survived by his wife, Jackie (Collins) Watkins of Ashland, KY; two sons, Steve Lawson of Tampa, FL. And Kevin Lawson of Daytona Beach, FL; one daughter, Lisa Smith of Las Vegas, NV and three sisters. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in Korea and was a  retired Machinist from Special Metals, Huntington, WV.  There will be no local services, a memorial service will be held at a later date in Florida. Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV is caring for the family.
