Obituary


Dottie Lou Black, 67 of South Charleston, formerly of Barboursville, passed away on January 4, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on April 10, 1950 to the late Theodore Roosevelt Black Sr. and Mary Ellen Blankenship-Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers Frederick Black, Kenneth Black, Donald Black, Lloyd Black, Dennie Black, Everett Black, Teddy Black and Bill Black. Dottie is survived by her loving daughter, Andrea Black-Means and son-in-law Robert of South Charleston, two sisters, Joann Mattox, Barbara Elam; and sister-in-law Myra Black. She graduated from Milton High School Class of 1969. Dottie was a cosmetologist and retired from Seneca Health Services. Services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 9th at 11am at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary Huntington, W.Va. near Barboursville with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 10 at 11am at Forest Memorial Park Milton, W.Va.
