Joseph Foster Moore, 79, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Tuesday July 12, 2016 at Kings Daughter’s Medical Center, Ashland, KY. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Pat Collier. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Huntington. He was born May 30, 1937, in Kenova, WV a son of the late William Truman and Cora Hood Moore. He was a retired truck driver with McLean and J.R. Roam Trucking Co. Joseph was a member of Madison Ave. Christian Church. He was also an avid golfer, loved to travel and watch TV and play video games and he loved his grandchildren very much. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ann Sturgeon Moore after 53 years of marriage; daughter Sally Ann Lloyd; brothers Truman and Richard Moore and sisters Lila King, Doris Goosman, Hazel Vinson, Elsie Houser, Rosalie Beckwith and Norma Wilkerson. Survivors include a son and daughter in law Joseph Moore, Jr. and Vickie Moore of South Point, Ohio; grandchildren Caitlin Moore, Alexandrea Moore and Tyler Lloyd and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call from 1 pm until service time Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home.
