Helen Marie Dolen Hazelett
(February 16, 1937 - May 8, 2013)



Helen Marie Dolen Hazelett, 76, born February 16, 1937 of Huntington, WV, went to be with the Lord May, 8, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. A retired SICU, RN of 30 years from St. Mary's Medical Center. A saint and prayer warrior to all that met her, she truly portrayed the character and love of Christ. She was a lifetime member of Grace Cathedral, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her spouse, John Hazelett of Akron, Ohio; parents, Richard and Ethel (Adkins) Dolen; sister, Tootie Effie Mae Spears; and nephew, Jeffrey S. Hazelett. She is survived by her brother William (Bill) Dolen and spouse Oleta Dolen of Ohio; daughters Johnna Gail Parker and spouse Charles F. Parker of Huntington, WV, Sheila Gail Pinkerton and spouse Stephen E. Pinkerton, and Jodi Gail Hazelett of Huntington, WV; grandchildren, Jonathan C. Parker, Chad F. Parker, Jayden Parker, Amanda M. Heck, Brandon C. Heck, Stephen P. Pinkerton, and Natalie C. Pinkerton of Huntington, WV; nephews and nieces, Kimberly D. (Hazelett) Guiffrida and spouse Danny, Michael Dolen and spouse Collett, and Debbie Spears and spouse Mike Spears; many great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, former co-workers and special friend, Dr. Kathy Saber, all that will miss her. Special thank you to Jodi Hazelett, Pauline Gue, Ruthy Triplett, and the entire staff of Hospice of Huntington for the kindness and exceptional care given. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 13, 2013 at Christ Temple Church at 11 a.m. by Senior Pastor Chuck Lawrence and Pastor Keith Waters. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
