Shelby Meadows
(November 28, 1930 - May 18, 2013)

Shelby "Shag" Clifford Meadows, 82, of Milton, WV, passed away Saturday evening , May 18, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastors Jason Kessler and George Surgeon. Burial will be in Bias Chapel Cemetery. He was born November 28, 1930, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Roy Meadows and Ollie Fetty Meadows. He was a Korean War Veteran and a bronze star recipient serving in the US Army. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Shirley Ann Fields Meadows; one son, Allen Meadows of Milton, WV; two daughters, Debbie (Dennis) Bixler of Massillon OH and Cheryl Fleming of Cape Canaveral, FL; one sister, Peggy Meadows of Glenwood, WV; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
