Carl Lyndell McClaskey
(February 4, 1940 - October 24, 2013)

Carl Lyndell McClaskey, 73, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at St. Marys Medical Center. He was born February 4, 1940 in Cabell County, a son of the late Cecil and Clelia Wheeler McClaskey. He is also preceded in death by his wife Sarah Elizabeth Sawyers McClaskey; two brothers, Cecil Eugene McClaskey and Paul Wetzel McClaskey and one sister Melva Lee McClaskey. He is survived by two sons, Robert McClaskey (Vickie) and Ricky McClaskey; one brother, Tharol McClaskey; three grandchildren, Brittani McClaskey, Jacob Gregory and Caitlynn Gregory; and one great-grandchild Camryn Ervin. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor Samuel Jeffrey Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Baylous Cemetery.
