Obituary

BERNARD LEE "BERNIE" MOORE
(October 3, 1927 - March 25, 2015)

BERNARD LEE "BERNIE" MOORE, 87, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away March 25, 2015, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Rev. Ron Burnsworth. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. He was born October 3, 1927, in Huntington, a son of the late Pauline Moore Hunter. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired employee of CSX Railroad. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Gay Marie Moore, and one brother, Dr. Glen Hunter. He is survived by his wife Hazel Chandler Moore; one brother, Elva Clay Hunter; and several nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
