DOROTHY H. WELLS
(January 5, 1929 - March 26, 2015)

DOROTHY H. WELLS, 86, of Barboursville, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Putnam Care Rehab. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Jesse Lacy. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery, Huntington. She was born January 5, 1929, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles D. and Lucille Clark Shirley. She was a member of Bowen Ridge Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Milton Wells and one sister, Sophie Shirley. She is survived by one daughter, Bernita McCallister and her husband Gary of Barboursville; one brother, Charles Shirley of Tennessee; and special friends Jack and Beverly Holley. A special thank you to the staff at Putnam Care and Rehab. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
