PAMELIA FAYE "PAM" PORTER
(July 7, 1948 - September 11, 2015)



PAMELIA "PAM" FAYE PORTER, "Grandma, MeMe, Mommy & Sis", 67, of Barboursville, W.Va., went with the angels to the heavenly skies on September 11, 2015. Pam was born July 7, 1948, to the late Gilbert "Gibo" and Mildred Knight of Lesage, W.Va. She was preceded in death by her only son, Bubby Porter, and her beloved soul mate, Randy Gue, who also passed away on September 11, 1999. Also, three sisters, Donna Henry, JoAnn and Mary Ellen Knight; and one brother, Wayne Knight. She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa (Kurt) Mays and Terri Lynn; along with her four grandchildren, Ryan (Dara), Megan (Michael), Jessica and Samuel. Her joy for life was her great-grandchildren, Alexis, Jailen, Kaleb, Cameron, Addison, Harleigh Jo and a great-grandson on the way. Pam leaves behind four sisters, June Clary, Diane (Taylor) Adkins, Susan (John) Lafferty of N.C. and Eva (Jeff) Mason of Texas. Along with two brothers, Sonny (Sharie) Knight and Timmy (Stephanie) Knight; and a sister-in-law, Melita Knight; and a brother-in-law, Irvin Henry. Pam had a very close friend, Brenda Knapp, who was like a sister to her. She has many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Along with cousins and friends. Pam was beautiful inside and out. A woman who was truly unique! Generous, giving and a loving person whose heart was made of gold. She always put others first. She will be missed by all. Heaven truly gained a beautiful angel. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jamie Jefferson. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park, Lesage. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
