Obituary

Peter George Mamula
(August 15, 1934 - October 17, 2016)



Peter George Mamula, 82, of Huntington, passed away October 17, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Steele Memorial United Methodist Church, Barboursville, by Rev. Kevin Lantz and Rev. Ralph Sager. Entombment will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. He was born August 15, 1934 in Weirton, WV, a son of the late Peter and Anna Dodosh Mamula. Peter retired from Nationwide Insurance after 37 successful years as an insurance agent. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of the Minerva Lodge # 13, A.F. & A.M., Barboursville. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Peggy Mullins Mamula; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Melissa Mamula of Dublin, OH and Perry and Andrea Mamula of Huntington. He had four grandchildren who he adored and who loved him dearly. His grandchildren are Parker, Tally, Nick and Kelly. He also had a special great-niece who he loved and who has done so much for him, Carrie Chapman. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am Thursday at Steele Memorial United Methodist Church. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements. Masonic services will be conducted by the Minerva Lodge # 13, A.F. & A.M.
