WILLIAM PERRY "BILL" HOWARD
(July 2, 1926 _ April 26, 2017)



WILLIAM "BILL" PERRY HOWARD, 90, of Barboursville, loving husband and dad, passed away April 26, 2017, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born July 2, 1926, in Decatur, Ohio, a son of the late Franklin Howard and Laura. He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Isaac, Oscar, Bruce, Della and Robert Howard, Stella Calton and Mary Bailey. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Powell Howard; daughters, Mary A. Howard, Kathy H. Howard and Drema Weatherholt (Homer); four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; special people, Paula Seay, David Gordon; and two caregivers, Leslie Hess and Lisa Lucas. He was the owner of R & B Auto, a member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of the American Legion Post #177, Barboursville. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Kevin Lantz and Rev. Ralph Sager. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.
