ROBERT JOSEPH ERDLITZ, 81, of Huntington, husband of Kathleen Robeda Erdlitz, passed away on Sunday. He was born on January 10, 1929 in Huntington a son of the late Robert W. and Orleans Buji Erdlitz. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Erdlitz; a granddaughter, Nichelle Rene’ Butcher; and a great-granddaughter, Katelynn. In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Suzanne Marie Erdlitz of Huntington, Kathleen Rene’ (Dan) Butcher of Cincinnati, OH, and Christie Erdlitz of Huntington; one sister, Marcie Wethington of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Amanda Erdlitz, John Christopher “J.C.” Erdlitz, and Stephanie Lynn Butcher; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Erdlitz was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Elks Lodge 313. He was an avid bowler, a huge Green Bay Packers fan and a former Booster for the Huntington Cubs and the Huntington Blizzard. A funeral liturgy will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor Lawrence Luciana officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Beard Mortuary.
