Obituary

Gerald H. Dalton 67, of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on Monday February 15, 2010 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.  He was born December 16, 1942 in Huntington, a son of the late George Washington and Ruth Chapman Dalton.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, George H. Dalton, a brother Robert Dalton; sister Iona Folk; step-sisters, Dolly and Kitty; and step-mother, Rhonda Dalton. He retired with 37 years of service with the WV-American Water Company. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Flora Robinson Dalton; his children, Susan Michele (Scott Theiler), Gerald Christopher (Kathy) and Dedra Dannielle and step-sons Michael and Kevin Pauley; grandchildren, Michael David, Jessica Nicole, Alaina and Ariana; sisters, Brenda Rose and Shirley Henson; step-sisters, Laura, Marie, Angie, Della, Cheryl, Lynn and Barbara and step-brother, Paul David Pennington. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday at the mortuary.
