Edward L. “Ed” Bick, 70, of Chesapeake, OH, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed into the arms of God Thursday, March 3, 2011. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with Pastor Gregory A. Tomlinson officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. He was born July 12, 1940 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Edward J. Bick and Bessie Noble Webb. Mr. Bick was a veteran of the US Air Force and a retired Sears associate. He was also a member of and past commander of the American Legion Post 16, where he leaves many good friends. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Connie Shannon Bick; two sons, Edward L. Bick, Jr. (Cynthia) of Sumter, SC and David R. Bick (Kristen) of Kitts Hill, OH; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Friends may call from 1:30 to 2p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Beard Mortuary.
