Obituary
JAMES FARLEY, 86, of Huntington went home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with his wife of 50 years, Patricia Hunter Farley, on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House in Huntington. He was born on March 12, 1925 in Delbarton, a son of the late John H. and Ida Mae Stepp Farley. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a twin brother, Rush Farley. He is survived by two daughters Judy Farley and Kathy (John) Snyder; seven grandchildren, Adam West, Bryan Snyder, Amanda Jacobs, Katie Sheldon, Aaron Farley, Colton Farley and Hunter Farley; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other friends and family. Mr. Farley was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy where he served in Pearl Harbor and aboard the minesweeper USS-YMS-330. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Bethel Ridge Cemetery in Oak Hill, OH with Pastor Ralph Farley officiating. Beard Mortuary is assisting the family.
