PAUL A. LEWIS, 84, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Wednesday April 18, 2012. He was born February 21, 1928, to the late William R. and Bessie Bush Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Mary Lee Turner Lewis and their daughter Jill. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law; a brother-in-law, Karl (Pam) Turner of South Point, OH; a niece, Cindy Jeffords of Huntington and several additional nieces and nephews. He was in automobile sales for over forty years. He graduated from Huntington East High School in 1946, served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II, attended Marshall College where he played football under Coach Cam Henderson and was a member of the Varsity M Club. Special thanks to David, Marla and Evan Tolley, M.G. Kademani and Bill and Becky Cyrus for their kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Jill Lewis Nursing Scholarship Foundation c/o St. Mary's Medical Center, 2900 1st Ave., Huntington, WV 25702. Private family services were conducted. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Beard Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
