FRANCES MARIE KRAUCH of Huntington, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at her home with loving family members by her side. Born March 6,19I7 in Richmond Hill, New York, she moved to West Virginia, a place she grew to love, in 1939 with her late husband, Anthony Krauch, several years after their marriage. She is survived by daughters Arlene Pool (Otis) Great Falls, VA and Carolyn Braudaway (Jessie) Springfield, VA. Grandchildren Christopher Pool (Alleyne) Charlotte, North Carolina, Melissa Pool, New York City, Jason Pool, Dunn Loring, Virginia, Jennifer Braudaway, Baltimore, Maryland and Great Grandaughter, Haley Pool, Charlotte, North Carolina, Nieces , Joanne Pine and Maureen Taube, Nephew, Walter Zeltner. She was an active member of our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Her generous spirit was evident over the years in various volunteer activities at the church as well as belonging to the Women's Guild, the choir, and the Altar Society. Many remember her famous cakes which she frequently provided for bake sales and friends. Until her later years, she played golf at the Guyan Golf and Country Club where she remained a member until her passing. The family will receive friends from 9am-11am, Wednesday December 24 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 24, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Entombment will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Abbey of Devotion. An avid lover of animals, charitable contributions in Frances’ honor may be given to Little Victories Animal Rescue, PO Box 247, Barboursville, WV, 25504-0247 or to Hospice of Huntington, PO Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709, to which the family expresses their gratitude for their loving care and support.
